Wieso? Hat schon einige interessante Features. Aber ist halt Plastik und obendrein 9mm und deswegen blasphemisch. Aber ansich als Carry Waffe sicher keine schlechte Wahl.

Eine 1911er mit Plastik Griff und in 9mm ist so, wie eine Corvette mit 2l Eco-Blue-Green super hybrid Diesel auf 14'' Sparreifen!
Vielleicht vernünftig, aber trotzdem ein Unding!

bei plastik pistolen rümpfen alle die nase,nur bei der glock nicht

Das liegt wohl daran, dass die Glock gänzlich aus Keramik gefertigt istund durch keinen Detektor entdeckt werden kann, hat zumindest der Bruce gesagt.............
Meiner Meinung nach gehört eine 1911er aus Stahl und in 45ACP.

Liegt wohl eher daran, dass die Leute eine gewisse Vorstellung davon haben, wie eine bestimmte Waffe sein sollte - nämlich so, wie sie designed wurde: 1911er eben aus Stahl, Glock mit Polymergriff, etc.
Ein M16 mit Nill Holzschaft finde ich persönlich auch extremst geschmacklos. Und eine Glock mit Stahlgriffstück einfach nur... falsch.

Unnötig deswegen, weil es eine reine Singel Action Waffe ist. Das ist für CCW mMn nicht optimal.
Lange Zeit gab es nichts anderes, da wars auch ok, aber heute ist das veraltet.

Ich bin auch nicht bekannt, daher werfe ich meine irrelevante Meinung auch in den Raum:
Dürfte ich eine CCW tragen, wäre mir Condition 2 am liebsten - aber nur mit einer DA Waffe, weil damit das manuelle spannen des Hahns nurnoch optional ist und mit entsprechender Übung "überflüssig" wird.
Es wird schon seinen Grund haben warum sich so viele Leute eine Single Stack Glock wünschen.

Weil es bei CCW laut Aussage vieler, die davon mehr Ahnung haben als ich, viel eher auf die Dicke der Waffe, als auf die Länge ankommt (ja, wir reden von Waffen) - und eine Glock 36 ist nunmal immernoch recht fett im Vergleich zu einer Single Stack Waffe.

Deshalb schätze ich meine STI Ranger. Single Stack und kurzer Lauf. Und alles in .45 ACP.
